Ducat Asset Management is an investment services company founded by consulting company Ukrainian Trade Guild and development company DC Evolution in partnership with founder of Principal Standard Group.

Our main specialization is property asset management. The company’s intention is to help clients navigate the markets and meet their investment goals. Ducat Asset Management develops investment products for expressing new ideas and structure portfolios that seek to capitalize on market inefficiencies.

Principal Standard Group is a private holding company that specializes in Active Advisory and Business Services in a variety of countries across a wide range of industries: telecommunications, energy, security, real estate and health.

We develop investment products for expressing new ideas and structuring portfolios that seek to capitalize on market inefficiencies.

Peter Foyo

EXPERIENCE:

Founding CEO of Principal Standard Group, held numerous board leadership positions over the course of his career. Current board member with the Marquette Companies, a prominent real estate company with over 11,000 apartment units and $1.9 Bn. in property investments in the USA. Spent six years on the board of UAE’s Abraaj Group, one of the 50 largest private equity firms in the world.

Along with serving on the advisory board of the freight rail company Kansas City Southern, Peter Foyo helped lead the Business Global Initiative at Georgetown University’s McDonough School of Business.

Peter Foyo is recognized as an accomplished telecommunications executive. In his current role with Principal Standard Group, he oversees a broad range of global initiatives in communications, real estate, energy, and health care. His projects include the first solar facility in Mexico, a $700 MM medical plaza in Cancun, and a €1.5 Bn. communications contract with Serbia Telecom.

Peter Foyo spent much of his career as CEO and chairman of Nextel de Mexico, growing the company’s revenues to $3 Bn., increasing the company’s customer base from 35,000 analog subscribers to 4 MM digital subscribers, securing 30% of the Mexican postpaid market in the process. At the end of his tenure in 2013, Nextel de Mexico led all mobile network operators in terms of ARPU and EBITDA margins. He helped the company garner several major industry awards and recognitions, including “Socially Responsible Company” for eight consecutive years and “One of the Best Places to Work” since 2007.

EXPERIENCE:

Developer, specializes in redevelopment of old industrial zones to offices, expert in redevelopment of old industrial areas, speaker at international exhibitions MIPIM and MAPIC, property management (offices). 

Igor Melnyk has over 12 years of experience in real estate development. Since 2013, Igor Melnyk has lead the company Dragon Evolution, in partnership with the investment company Dragon Capital, the first successful Ukrainian outsource developer with extensive experience in more than 20 projects evaluated or under evaluation with a total area of over 1 million sq. m. A significant period in his career was associated with the Forum Group in the role of managing partner in development. He oversaw development of industrial zones in five business centers with a total area of 300,000 m2 of office space and the construction of an educational and recreational complex in Koncha Zaspa. 

In 2016, Igor Melnyk joined UTG team as partner. Because of this, UTG expanded its portfolio with new services such as development, brokerage, and subsequent management of the facilities.

Civic and Charitable Activities: He is engaged in volunteer support of the army. He is co-chairman of the Council of People’s Volunteers, and as advisor of the Minister of Defense of Ukraine, supervised the project of building fortifications in the ATO zone. He headed the program to provide The Armed Forces of Ukraine with accommodation in 2015. In the same year, he founded the charitable foundation “Our Parks.” In the past year, the foundation carried out six projects on landscaping and improvement of the city, the all-Ukrainian social action “Give Life to a Pine Tree” and launched a public awareness program emphasizing environmental values for Ukrainians.

Vadym Nozdria

EXPERIENCE:

Vadym Nozdria is an experienced project manager with focus in energy efficiency, large scale infrastructure and hospitality projects. In 1999 he created the Mykolaiv regional Energy Efficiency Zone and received a grant from the TACIS “Energy Efficiency-2000” program. Worked in various positions at Ukrspetsexport (state company for export and import of military, and special products and services), with last position held being the Deputy Head of the 1st regional department, Head of the Department for the implementation of foreign economic contracts. Managed and implemented large-scale projects in the field of military-industrial cooperation, in particular, the construction of the capital repairs center for T-80UD tanks in the city of Texyl, with the participation of Ukrainian, Chinese and Pakistani enterprises.

In 2006, Vadym joined the international steel company Istil, as project manager, completing the project for the construction of a steel rolling mill on the Danube River in Serbia, which was put into operation and sold together with all the metallurgical assets of the group in 2008. Since 2008, responsible for development of real estate, media, coal and consumer industries in the Group. Since 2015 elected as member of Kyiv city council, member of the Standing Committee on housing and utilities, focusing on housing energy efficiency and the reimbursement of the difference in tariffs accumulated for 2004-2011.

In 2017, at the peak of the “Lviv Garbage Crisis” took initiative to establish and head “Green City”, a LLC project company for the implementation of construction projects for communal infrastructure for collecting and processing solid waste in the city of Lviv, as well as for the reclamation of Gribovitsky landfill. The project is funded by the EBRD and European Funds.

Over 11 years of Investment Banking experience working at Ukraine’s top investment banks, including Dragon Capital and Arta Investment Partners. Provided market analysis and consulting services. Worked on M&A, Private Placement, and IPO deals in a wide variety of sectors, including retail, banking, agriculture, HoReCa, pharmaceutical, IT, Real Estate, and oil and gas – to the sum of over $350 MM.

From 2014-2018 was also an Adviser to the Minister of Economy, helping the Ministry of Economic Development of Ukraine fulfill its reform agenda. Facilitated export deals via international public procurement to the sum over $30 MM. Guest lecturer at Kyiv-Mohyla Business School (KMBS), author of numerous publications, international public speaker.

Since 2013, Andriy has been the head of development at Dragon Evolution, which in partnership with Dragon Capital investment company, developed more than 10 projects in various real estate areas. Among the latest projects, Andriy Ryzhykov managed development of the Fozzy hypermarket (15,000 sq. m), Gorodok shopping center redevelopment (46,000 sq. m) and construction of an educational and recreational complex in Koncha Zaspa (Kyiv area).
